Effective date: 18 July 2026
This policy explains the cookies, local browser storage and similar technologies that may be used on advancedconcepts.co.uk. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website through a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and scripts that can remember a preference, support a function or provide information about how a website is used.
Some storage is necessary for a requested website function. Other storage, including most analytics technologies, is optional and should not be activated until the visitor has made an appropriate choice.
2. How this website uses storage technologies
The Advanced Concepts website is designed to minimise unnecessary tracking. The principal uses are remembering a visitor’s privacy choice, supporting website security and form operation, and—only where accepted—collecting general analytics information.
The sketch-to-software animation is hosted directly on this website. It does not require an embedded public video player and therefore avoids the additional tracking that can accompany some third-party video platforms.
3. Essential storage
The consent mechanism stores a value named ac_cookie_consent in local browser storage. This records whether the visitor selected analytics or essential operation only. Remembering that choice is necessary to avoid repeatedly displaying the same consent request.
WordPress, the hosting platform, security services or the contact-form process may also use short-lived technical cookies or session information where needed to deliver a requested feature, protect the website or validate a form submission. Essential technologies are not used to create advertising profiles.
4. Optional analytics
Google Analytics may be configured to provide aggregated information about website visits, page views, navigation and general device or browser characteristics. The analytics script is intended to load only after the visitor selects “Accept analytics”.
Analytics data helps us assess whether visitors can find important information and identify pages that need improvement. It is not required to view the website, browse products or submit a project enquiry.
Google may process analytics information using its own systems and policies. Further information is available from Google’s privacy documentation.
5. Managing or changing your choice
You can select “Essential only” and continue to use the website without optional analytics. Selecting “Accept analytics” permits the analytics script to load for that browser.
You can reset the choice at any time using the button below. The website will remove the saved consent preference and display the consent banner again on the next page load.
6. Third-party websites and services
Links to the Apple App Store, Google services or other external websites take the visitor away from advancedconcepts.co.uk. Those services control their own cookies and information practices. Their privacy and cookie information should be reviewed separately.
We avoid adding third-party embeds unless they provide a clear benefit and can be introduced with appropriate privacy controls.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers allow users to inspect, block or delete cookies and website storage. Blocking all storage may affect website features that depend on remembering a preference or maintaining a secure session.
Browser controls operate independently of the consent choice provided on this website. Clearing local storage will remove the saved Advanced Concepts consent selection.
8. Changes and contact
This policy may be revised when technologies, suppliers or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when a material revision is made.
Questions about cookies or analytics may be sent to sales@advancedconcepts.co.uk.
